Don’t Attack Innocents The first rule of defensive political violence is not to hurt innocent persons. Defensive militant operations are not terrorist acts. Persons who intentionally risk the life of innocents cannot use the justifications of self-defence or necessity to defend their actions. Activists will loose the moral higher ground if they hurt innocents. They will be condemned by all, and sentenced to prison as terrorists if caught. Supporters of defensive political violence will condemn terrorists and turn them over to the police if they have knowledge about terrorist activities. Terrorists are our enemies. Lock them up for good and throw away the key. It is also out of the question to cooperate with organised criminal groups. Many of them traffic people, force women into prostitution, and rape children in order to sell them as sex slaves. It is unbelievable disgusting. We wholeheartedly support the police in their fight against these criminals. Forget about bank robberies to finance operations. Ordinary people who work in banks should be considered as innocent civilians. They are not guilty just because they work for multinational companies. Only fanatics believe that everyone who is in some way a part of the “system” deserves to be sacrificed during militant operations. That kind of reasoning is unsound. Militant activists should avoid using bombs. Bombs are indiscriminate, and pose a big threat to innocent lives. If you are in doubt, see the movie “Munich”. You will loose your soul if you kill an innocent person. Nightmares will haunt you. And no one will defend you. In addition, bombs are associated with terrorists. Bombs are usually not needed, they will only make activists unpopular and hated. Activists must learn to see the wider context, and not only focus on single operations. They must think strategically and learn that aborting irresponsible missions or even losing many battles is not a defeat as long as the war is won in the end. Killing innocent people is a strategic blunder. The Americans lost the Vietnam War because the did not see the bigger picture. Activists should not repeat that mistake.
